First level proving safe and effective AI-assisted coding habits on a well-scoped task.
Small scoped coding task with working code and unit tests. Task is already defined. Little to no spec work expected. Limited integration, no QA/DevOps/production ownership.
Example: New API endpoint · small UI component · validation logic · backend bug fix with unit tests.
AI PR review (Claude Code agent runs the rubric) + human board approval. AI is advisory; human is the gate.
Code works as expected, unit tests pass, acceptance criteria met, no major defects introduced, engineer shows safe and effective AI-assisted coding habits.
